This high-performance IDS/IPS system for log management and analysis is built on Suricata and Pistache (C++), with Redis as the database. This update brings numerous key improvements, making working with IDS/IPS even more convenient, flexible, and efficient.
What’s new in version 2.0?
✅Full synchronization with Redis All Suri Oculus components now work in close integration with Redis, significantly improving data consistency, performance, and scalability of the system.
🌍 Geolocation for alerts When a potential threat is detected, you can now see the country and approximate location of the source or recipient. This speeds up incident analysis and helps respond quickly to threats from specific regions.
🌐 New network visualization An intuitive network map has been added, allowing real-time monitoring of all active connections and interaction points. This greatly simplifies network monitoring, identifying problem areas, and detecting potential vulnerabilities.
🛠 Backend now runs as a service Suri Oculus can now be launched as a full-fledged service, simplifying configuration, management, and integration into complex infrastructures.
🐞 Bug fixes and improved stability We have fixed numerous bugs, improved stability, and incorporated user feedback, addressing critical vulnerabilities from previous versions.
🔑 Security: Frontend authentication Access to the web interface now requires a login and password, ensuring protection against unauthorized access.
